A famous and quite popular choice for Russian travel is to make the long and scenic journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway. This railroad connects Moscow through to the eastern part of Russia and even the Far East. You can travel from the comfort of a train car and see the entire country. This can be an alternative way to travel to the Far East rather than going by plane. The Trans-Siberian Railway has recently joined with the Eurasian Land Bridge, which allows easy access to mainland China. There are different types of fares available to fit within your budget. If you are lucky enough to afford it, you can even hire out your own private train car to have for yourself and anyone else you are travelling with. But there are cheaper fares available.
